I’m Rodrigo Bardin, a Berlin-based multidisciplinary creative working across documentary filmmaking and photography. With over two decades of experience spanning multiple creative disciplines such as user experience, design, brand strategy, and advertising, I’m drawn to collaborations rooted in craft - working closely with people and brands who care deeply about what they make, how they make it, and why it exists.
Since 2018, I’ve been reshaping my practice around a documentary approach. I’ve worked with musicians, filmmakers, painters, tattoo artists, dancers, artisans, photographers, industrial designers, and impact-driven startups, documenting creative processes through still and moving images. The work ranges from observational and narrative focused films, either short or long formats, individual or team portraits, and experimental projects, guided by curiosity, atmosphere, and human-first storytelling.
Born in São Paulo and shaped by transformative experiences in Sweden and Italy, I’ve always embraced collaborating with culturally diverse and multidisciplinary teams. I’ve met wonderful people working independently, as well as on client and agency sides, for and with local and global brands. Some of their names are: Mercedes-Benz / antoni / HUGE / Hyper Island / Doberman / Flyte / BOX1824 / Grïngo / Itaú / Africa / DM9DDB / DPZ&T / Mutato / Ana Couto Branding / Bank of America / La Graine Studio / Nicolas Perez Luthier / Portair / Berlin Food Stories / and more.
